Always Best Care presents
Ellen Carbonell of the Alzheimer's Association
"Early warning signs of Alzheimer's disease"
Special guest: Allen Krieger
Allen Krieger was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in September, 2009 at the age of 68.
Before his retirement, Mr. Krieger was, literally, a rocket scientist, PhD in physics from MIT, worked with NASA, the Department of Defense, Department of Energy and others.
He was the fourth member of his extended family to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Today, he says it sometimes takes three trips out the door and back before he has everything he needs to go outside.
Mr. Krieger is now an Early Stage advisor for the Alzheimer's Association, and he'll be joining us as a special guest speaker with the Alzheimer’s Association’s Ellen Carbonell in her webinar presentation of the Early Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease on Tuesday, February 12 at 10am Pacific. Tune in to hear his personal story, how the disease has impacted him and his family, and what it takes to cope with a new unknown every day.
